Banana Mush
Unfortunately (and apparently) there is actually a food dish called “mush” which consists of some kind of fried corn, so I couldn’t go by my original title for fear of misleading my visitors (How to Make Really Delicious Mush). I tried out this one while I was doing a fruit & yogurt only diet and found the mixing of flavors to be so delicious that I had to share it here.
Ingredients:
2 bananas
3 cups of vanilla yogurt (I prefer Dannon Light & Fit)*
Coconut flakes (enough for a handful or two)**
*You may use any flavor of choice, and other flavors will certainly make a more colorful dish but I prefer vanilla.
**The absolute healthiest thing to do would be to buy the fruit and shave your own flakes, but you are probably lazy like I am and just have the manufactured stuff lying around in a bag.
Directions:
- Slice bananas.

- Pour the yogurt into a bowl or other serving dish alternately with the banana slices. You can do this anyway you’d like - layer on layer, or by putting them together and mixing them with a spoon.
- Now you have a bowl of unappetizing looking same-colored stuff, but I promise it gets better.

- Sprinkle a bit of the coconut (as you desire); mix. Continue with as much coconut as you’d like, though I don’t like the coconut flavor to overpower the rest of the ingredients.
- When done mixing, sprinkle a final layer of coconut.

- Enjoy.
