Thoughts:

I’m resting at about 45 pages per hour right now. That’s a pretty good number considering the turtle’s horrible poop smell, the constant need to change surrounding lighting, the chicken pot pie and milk, and the few text messages to Megan thanking her for inviting me into this world. This book is so descriptive that I’ve found myself wanting the food they’re eating. Generally I’ll just feel a stab of hunger when I’m reading about people eating, but in this case, I want specifically oatmeal cookies and chicken with rice, even wine on occassion even though I don’t even like wine. Perhaps needless to say that I think I’m going to start getting into some paranormal romance pretty soon… Even if the sex scenes make me giggle.
