Bookshelves: The Living Room

I’ve signed up with a website titled BookRabbit on which one may catalogue her books. This isn’t a new concept (I’m also a member of LibraryThing and Shelfari), except that on BookRabbit, they have a cute logo and you can upload your bookshelves! I love this feature - not only can I show off my cute bookends (along with my spectacular selection of books), but I can tag each title so that you can learn more about it!

So without further adieu, over a series of posts I will bring you an abridged version of my BookRabbit collection. Below some images* you will find a link which will bring you to the profile page of that particular bookshelf including all the tagged books and miscellaneous information. Today I present my living room; I’ll still have the “library” (which is really just a dining room without a table), the bedroom, and possibly the hallway or kitchen to share at later dates.

* Note: It was impossible to label every book as this was a UK based website and some editions, apparently, were unavailable in that database. In addition, book covers may vary.

Thanks for the BookRabbit write up, glad you liked it!

We have about 4.2 million titles on the database at the moment but as you say this is the full UK catalogue as it stands, I’d like to add the US one in the next couple of months if we can.

We do have the ability to edit virtually anything on the page too - so if your book has a different jacket you can add this on the product page should you so wish, you can also add a book from scratch which might be necessary for some of the older titles you have - your fantastic rare ones for example!

Love your collection by the way - impressively eclectic!

    All the best
